Absolutely wonderful to be able to spend a week with our dear Swiss friends Susy and Chris. What wonderful hospitality we have been given and we have enjoyed many walks (see photos following) and lots and lots of laughs.
Unfortunately, while at a wildlife park, Chris tripped on a tree root and fell on the gravel badly gashing his arm and necessitating a trip to hospital to stop the bleeding from his artery. All good now even if he does look like his arm is in plaster.
We first met Susy and Chris 50 years ago aboard the SS Australis (Chandris Line) sailing across the Pacific from Australia to South America where they left the ship in Acapulco. Since then we have been able to visit each other in Australia or Switzerland on many occasions.

Now 50 years later …….. Just the same
Following are some of the photos from the past week around Zurich including evening walks, wildlife park and a country area known for nesting storks.
